毀破三寶 作一闡提 I have destroyed the Triple Jewel and been an Icchantika
謗大乘經 斷學般若 I have slandered the Great Vehicle sutras and cut off the study of Prajna
弒害父母 出佛身血 I have killed my parents and shed the Buddha's blood
汙僧伽藍 破他梵行 I have defiled the Sangharama and spoiled the pure conduct of others
焚燬塔寺 盜用僧物 I have burned temples and stupas and stolen Sangha's property
起諸邪見 撥無因果 I have harbored deviant views and denied cause and effect
狎近惡友 違背良師 I have drawn near to unwholesome companions and turned my back on good teachers
自作教他 見聞隨喜 I have done all these and taught others to do them as well and rejoiced compliantly upon seeing or hearing them done
如是等罪 無量無邊 All such offenses are limitless and boundless
故於今日 生大慚愧 Therefore on this day I bring forth great shame and remorse
克誠披露 求哀懺悔 I sincerely confess and seek to repent
惟願三寶 慈悲攝受 I only hope that the Triple Jewel will compassionately gather me in
放淨光明 照觸我身 And shine its pure light upon me
諸惡消滅 三障蠲除 So that all evils will be eradicated and Three Obstacles will be cast out
復本心源 究竟清淨 May I return to the fundamental source of the mind which is ultimately pure
往昔所造諸惡業, 皆由無始貪嗔癡, 從身語意之所生, 今對佛前求懺悔 Vãng Tích Sở Tạo Chư Ác Nghiệp Giai Do Vô Thỉ Tham Sân Si Tùng Thân Ngữ Ý Chi Sở Sanh Kim Đối Phật Tiền Cầu Sám Hối. All the evil deeds I have committed in the past are caused by greed, anger and ignorance from the beginningless time, and are born from my body, speech and mind. I now repent in front of the Buddha
衆生無邊誓願度煩惱無盡誓願斷法門無量誓願學佛道無上誓願成. Chúng Sanh Vô Biên Thệ Nguyện Độ Phiền Não Vô Tạn Thệ Nguyện Đoạn Pháp Môn Vô Lượng Thệ Nguyện Học Phật Đạo Vô Thượng Thệ Nguyện Thành. Living beings are limitless, I vow to cross them all Afflictions are inexhaustible, I vow to eliminate them Dharma doors are immeasurable, I vow to learn them The Buddha path is unsurpassed, I vow to achieve them

願以此功德 莊嚴佛淨土 上報四重恩 下濟三途苦 若有見聞者 悉發菩提心 盡此一報身 同生極樂國
May this merit be used to adorn the Buddha's Pure Land, repay the fourfold grace [country, parent, teacher, benefactor], and relieve the sufferings of the three evil paths [greed, anger, ignorance]. If anyone who sees or hears this, may they all develop the Bodhi mind, and after this retribution life, be reborn in the Pure Land together
是日已過 命亦隨減 如少水魚 斯有何樂? 大眾 當勤精進 如救頭然 但念無常 慎勿放逸
This day is already gone. Our lives are that much less. We're like fishes in a shrinking pond. What joy is there in this? We shall be diligent and vigorous as if our own heads were at stake, only mindful of the impermanence, and not lax
自皈依佛當願眾生紹隆佛種發無上心 自皈依法當願眾生深入經藏智慧如海 自皈依僧當願眾生統理大眾一切無礙和南聖眾
I take refuge in Buddha wishing all sentient beings understand the Great Doctrine and make the superlative resolve. I take refuge the Dharma wishing all sentient beings understand the Sutra Pitaka with wisdom as unfathomable as the sea. I take refuge the Sangha wishing all sentient beings harmonize multitudes in general without any obstruction and respect the sacred Sangha
